Alan Emert is a two time Grammy Award winning drummer who currently resides in the North Texas town of Denton. He has played a wide variety of music while performing and recording with some of Texas' best known bands including, Goodfoot, Billy Goat, MC 900 Ft. Jesus, The Joint Chiefs and Ten Hands.
Since 1994, Alan had been touring, recording and co-producing with the legendary Brave Combo, this eclectic band is best known for what has been dubbed nuclear polka. While working with Brave Combo, Alan garnered two Grammys for Let's Kiss and Polkasonic and a sixth nomination for Polka's Revenge. Alan enjoys working on a variety of projects and has worked with an array of artists. His most recent projects include work with The Undermain Theatre on The World Premier of the Neil Young Rock Opera Greendale and live performances with the Bonnie and Nick Norris Band. Alan is also excited to be performing with his long time Brave Combo Colleague and friend Bubba Hernandez. Alan is currently looking to pursue additional diverse musical projects.
